Education
- Algonquin College (Massage Therapy)
- University of Toronto (Kinesiology) (2012)
I was born and raised in the beautiful coastal town of Lockeport, Nova Scotia where a sense of community is very strong.
I have a thorough understanding of how the body works and an ability to problem solve through injury review and pain pattern analysis. Listening and empathizing with my clients allow me to identify the best treatment type and provide excellent results. My Kinesiology degree, from U of T, adds another layer of technique to the massage therapy. I have also taken courses to further specialize in deep tissue therapeutic massage, such as fascial therapy and scar tissue release.
Having worked in physiotherapy, pain, and rehabilitation clinics, I know the different pain relief solutions. I offer targeted treatments to achieve fast and effective results, while providing suggestions to maintain long-lasting results.

Hi, I’m Katie! RMT and Co-Founder of For Health’s Sake! I grew up in a small beach town in Southern Ontario before moving to Toronto to start school and later my career. I always knew from a young age that I wanted to help people and work in health & wellness. I began my journey in Massage Therapy by gaining experience in various settings, but I discovered my true passion in multi-disciplinary clinics. Here, I’ve seen my clients achieve the best results through the combination of both eastern and western treatment practices.
Having worked many years in various clinics, I gained experience by treating a variety of clients, from the injured athlete to the office worker. I tailor the treatment by assessing client symptoms, posture, and pain patterns. In addition to treating an injured area or area of pain or discomfort, I look at the entire body as a whole and treat other areas that have been affected by compensating.
My treatment style consists mostly of swedish techniques, deep tissue, passive stretching, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and cupping. I modify the pressure to my clients’ preference and I also offer aromatherapy treatments where I integrate essential oils within the massage to amplify the experience. Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Massage is my newest passion and addition to my services. I was trained in the Renata Franca method that came straight from Brazil.
I started For Health’s Sake with my business partner, Chloe, in 2018. I split my time as an RMT between both our clinics, and outside of that, I work from home managing them. I’m obsessed with health & wellness and I’ve always been very active. I love coffee, travelling, cooking, interior decorating, spending time with my dog and my family, and trying new food places.

My name is Breanna and I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to work through life’s difficulties. I am a Registered Social Worker and I provide individual and relationship therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, who struggle with trauma-related experiences, anxiety, emotional regulation, difficult relationships, disordered eating, body image and chronic pain/ injury.
I’m a warm, open, and direct therapist, who values the importance of honesty in session. I am committed to creating a safe space where you can feel supported and heard. During the therapy process, I promote an integrative style and incorporate several therapeutic modalities based on your specific and individualized needs. This involves taking a holistic and client-centred approach that values your life experience and builds on your strengths. My intention is to challenge your limiting beliefs, better understand the impact of your emotions and actions, and support you in finding meaningful ways to move forward.
I have specific training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for Anxiety, Disordered Eating and Trauma as well as Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

Life can have a way of challenging us into transitions we didn’t plan for or expect, leaving us feeling unprepared and overwhelmed at times. Maybe you have found yourself navigating the lingering effects of the pandemic, adjusting to in-person routines that now feel foreign or even unsettling. Perhaps you’re grappling with the impact of racial or gender-based trauma presented to you in social, school or work settings, carrying experiences that others might not fully understand. If you’re feeling uncertain, stuck, or simply exhausted, know that you don’t have to face these times alone.
As a first-generation Canadian of Middle Eastern descent, my personal journey within the mental health profession has shaped my therapeutic approach. My family separated when I was young, and navigating the complexities of those early experiences taught me the value of resilience, individuality, and self-discovery. These challenges shaped my ability to adapt and find strength in difficult times, a perspective I value in my work with clients. Being a mindful-based psychotherapist under the Registered Social Worker designation (MSW), I prioritize creating a space where you and your loved ones can explore these life moments in a way that feels safe and empowering. My approach to practice is rooted in supporting clients to understand how their experiences, whether stemming from systemic oppression, personal relationships, or life’s many transitions, have shaped their well-being and can nurture their resilience.
Drawing from a strengths-based practice, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through a collaborative and empathetic approach to support clients in making sense and navigating their story. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, the effects of trauma, or the uncertainty of life’s next chapter, I’m here to support you as you navigate this path at your own pace. My goal is to work in collaboration where you can process feelings, find clarity and welcome a life that feels more aligned with your values and vision for the future.
Starting the therapeutic journey can feel overwhelming, but it also grants the possibility for growth. If you’re ready to take that first step toward clarity I offer a complimentary 20-minute consultation to explore what brings you to For Health’s Sake and answer any questions you may have. Let’s start this journey together.

If you wake up and dread having to start your day, let’s talk. Whether it’s work, school, home, or even your relationships, life seems to keep throwing you challenges that you don’t want or know how to manage. It’s starting to feel like you’re stuck in a never-ending pattern.
And as humans, we often do function on autopilot and get caught in cycles of behaviour that we know aren’t healthy or good for us, but we just can’t seem to stop. How is it that we can be so aware and feel so powerless at the same time?
What if I told you that it’s not your fault and that human brains are actually wired that way for an important reason?
As your therapist, my mission is to help you recognize, understand and challenge the behaviours that no longer serve you and work on new evidence-based strategies that do. With nearly a decade of experience in neuroscience and physiology research, I’m here to help you bridge the gap between your mind, brain, and body so that we can put your self-awareness to use.
Whether you want to figure out your relationship, re-balance your life, take control of your emotions, or stand against your inner critic, breaking free from this cycle will allow you to finally live the life that you want to be living. Let’s begin this journey together to change how your thoughts and behaviour shape your experience of the world.

I approach challenges with a touch of wit and a healthy dose of sarcasm, believing that a well-timed laugh can make even the toughest situations more manageable. Do you ever feel like no one truly understands? Struggling to find the right words for your thoughts and feelings?
As a Filipina therapist, I know how much culture shapes the way we see ourselves and the world around us. In my space, you don’t have to pause to translate your story or explain the details. I get it, and that means we can spend more time focusing on you.
You understand your life and its challenges better than anyone else. I’m only here to help you write your story. Whether it’s navigating romantic relationships, family dynamics, immigrant experiences, or friendships, I’m here to offer guidance and support, not to erase the issues, but to help you work through them.
Let’s explore it together. I create a space where you can be authentic and open, helping you uncover who you truly are, what matters most to you, and what you need to move forward. Your comfort, emotional safety, and our therapeutic relationship are my top priority.

- Bachelor of Science in Biology and Pharmacology, Western University (2020)
Hello! My name is Nicole, and I am a Physiotherapist graduating with a MScPT from The University of Toronto. My passion and vibrancy for physical therapy stems from helping individuals like yourself on their road to recovery. Physical therapy is a broad field with a range of wonderful clinicians and approaches.
My goal as a therapist is to genuinely understand you as a person, your lifestyle, and your wants/needs to then implement a whole-body approach. Through my experience, I have found this method works to not only treat the immediate problem, but it also empowers you to implement lasting change in your life and avoid recurring issues.
An assessment is the time where I get to know you as an individual and develop a deeper understanding of what brings you into the clinic. Through open communication, thoughtful listening, and patient education, we can develop a personalized treatment plan to get you back to doing the things you love. It is my personal goal to motivate you during this process and ensure you get the most out of every session.
I love to implement different therapeutic techniques I’ve learned along the way to tackle any uptake barriers you may face. Whether you need a personalized weekly exercise schedule, accountability reminders, equipment-less exercises, manual therapy, a mindfulness-based program etc., the possibilities are endless.
I have an active approach to care, meaning I’ll provide you with the tools and exercises you need to effectively rehabilitate the problem. I enjoy working with all of my patients, but it is ultimately my goal that you become independent with the tools I’ve provided and can continue forward by implementing them into your routine.
I look forward to meeting you and getting you back to the life you love, or better yet, one you’ve always desired but did not think was possible!

Hi! I’m Sophie.
I have been working as a physiotherapist and pelvic health therapist since graduating with my Master of Physical Therapy from Western University.
Inspired by the resilience of the human body, I aim to create a positive rehabilitation journey for every client. I take a holistic approach to therapy, collaborating one-on-one to uncover the root causes of pain and dysfunction, ensuring we treat the underlying issues rather than just the symptoms. Together, we will develop personalized treatment plans that include manual therapy, functional exercise, and comprehensive education, all designed to help you move well and do what you love.
I am passionate about pelvic health and treat individuals of all genders! I understand that discussing pelvic health can be uncomfortable and vulnerable, so I prioritize creating a safe and respectful environment for all my clients.

Hi, I’m Meghna, a Physiotherapist driven by a deep passion for health, movement, and overall wellness. From the very beginning of my career, I’ve been fascinated by how resilient the human body can be and how much impact the right guidance and treatment can have on someone’s recovery. My approach is centered on truly understanding each patient’s unique needs and creating tailored treatment plans that empower them to regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their body.
I believe that recovery is never just about addressing the physical injury, it’s also about education, support, and building trust. I take a personalized approach, looking beyond the symptoms to create plans that truly work for you. Helping patients take charge of their recovery and leave feeling stronger and more confident is the most rewarding part of my work.
Throughout my practice, I’ve worked with a wide range of individuals, from those managing everyday aches and pains to athletes looking to elevate their performance. Along with musculoskeletal care, I also bring clinical experience in neurological rehabilitation, helping patients regain independence and quality of life after strokes or other neurological conditions. I combine evidence-based practices such as hands-on manual therapy, mobilizations, stretching, taping, cupping, soft tissue release, and tailored functional exercise to effectively promote recovery, enhance movement, and prevent future injuries.
Whether you are recovering from an injury, navigating chronic pain, or striving to perform at your best, I am here to support you every step of the way in your health journey. My goal is to create a positive, motivating environment where you feel heard, supported, and equipped with the right tools to succeed, both in and outside the clinic.

Education
- Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (Chiropractic Graduate Program)
- University of Western Ontario (Kinesiology, Health Sciences) (2012)
With over 12 years of clinical experience, I have seen and understood how beneficial treatment can be. Body-work can make such a difference in how people can feel and how their body can move. I believe your body is capable of extraordinary things, but sometimes it needs a little help to get there.
After obtaining both an undergraduate degree with honors in Kinesiology and an advanced degree in a chiropractic graduate program, I consider myself a student for life. Over the years I have continued to advance my education while paying attention to research that has shown the clinical effectiveness of various modalities for treating pain and dysfunction. My goal is to facilitate each patients’ return to optimal function as quickly and effectively as possible. My continued education and advanced certifications are something I pride myself in.
I incorporate various manual therapies and techniques such as joint mobilizations, soft tissue release, acupuncture, myofascial-decompression cupping, Fascial Stretch Techniques, exercise prescription and other electro modalities.
I take pride in having many tools in my tool box. My additional training in various modalities outside of adjusting allows me to individualize treatments, whether you need an adjustment or everything but an adjustment. I aim to provide the best possible treatment for each patient.

Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
M.OMSc (Master of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences)
Education
- Masters of Manipulative Sciences, Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (2022)
- Athletic Training, Neumann University (2015)
I have always had a long-standing passion for health and wellness. My journey in learning started in Philadelphia where I obtained a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training, while competing as a varsity volleyball athlete. From there, I obtained a Masters of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences over a four year, intensive program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy.
Throughout my studies of the structural body, I was very drawn to the energetic components to healing; which led me to complete my reiki training to Reiki Master Healer level. Osteopathy has allowed me to understand the body in a completely different way by embracing the self-healing and self-regulating nature of the body. This is done by working with the soft tissue structures to alleviate restriction of motion, which ultimately improves nerve communication, blood and lymphatic circulation. This principle assists in getting to the root cause of one’s dis-ease, and provides the ability to address a wide range of conditions, from acute to chronic. Both osteopathic manual therapy and reiki combined allow me to see the mechanics of the structural and energetic bodies that provide a complete and holistic approach to healing.
My experience in study and athletic competition allow my treatments to be rooted in a sense of compassion, caring and understanding. Outside of my practice, you can find me enjoying time outside with my dog, travelling, or up North at the lake with family and friends!
Your body’s ability to heal is greater than what you may believe – I would love the opportunity to work together and be a part of your healing journey!

I believe that each person is an integrated whole, and true health comes when the body, mind, and soul are in balance. That’s why I take a holistic approach to treatment—one that supports the entire person, not just isolated symptoms. When all systems of the body work in harmony, we’re able to heal, move, and live more fully.
One of my strongest skills is my ability to listen deeply. I honour the inherent wisdom within each of us and let that guide the healing process. My treatment plans are never one-size-fits-all—they emerge in response to each person’s unique needs, history, and goals.
I’m particularly attuned to the nervous system, especially in those who have never known what it feels like to be truly downregulated, grounded, or safe in their own bodies. Many of the people I work with come to me carrying long-held patterns of tension, stress, or trauma. My work helps them access a sense of calm and connection, often for the first time.
My approach integrates manual therapy, movement-based therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and energy medicine. I support people in getting “unstuck”—physically, emotionally, and energetically—so they can move forward with greater freedom and clarity.
Some of the hands-on therapies I use include cranial sacral therapy, visceral manipulation, pelvic mobilization, neural manipulation, and visceroemotional release. These techniques help the body unwind stored tension, restore internal balance, and return to a more regulated state of being.
With 10 years of clinical experience and 9 years prior to that in the field of exercise physiology and psychology, I’ve had the honour of walking alongside many on their path toward healing and self-discovery. I completed my Diploma in Manual Osteopathy through the National Academy of Osteopathy in 2015. I also hold a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education with Honours from the University of Toronto (in partnership with the University of Queensland, Australia), and a Master’s in Sport and Exercise Psychology from the University of Jyväskylä in Finland and Lund University in Sweden.
When I’m not in clinic, I’m probably dancing my heart out somewhere in the city—nothing lifts my spirit like house music, organic downtempo, or a deep tribal beat. Movement is my medicine, on and off the table. And if I’m not dancing, I’m likely on a pickleball court, paddle in hand, dinking my heart out.

Education
- Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic, Accelerated Program (2013)
- Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (H. BSc.Kin), McMaster University (2012)
Growing up in competitive dance, I had my fair share of injuries, and spent countless hours in clinics – which led me to my first job as a physio assistant 20 years ago. It was an easy choice to complete my Kinesiology degree through McMaster, and immediately continued my studies through Sutherland Chan’s Massage Therapy Program.
I’ve always had a deep interest in movement of the human body, injury prevention, and rehabilitation, and after 12 years of practice as an RMT, I am lucky to still absolutely love my work!
With an emphasis on mind-body wellness and balance, I focus on determining the causes of discomfort to identify how best to treat symptoms. I’m experienced in deep tissue massage, spinal cord injuries and neurological conditions, pre and postnatal massage, sports massage, and full body maintenance.
Always keen to keep learning and have taken additional courses to incorporate Cupping, Graston Technique, Fascial Stretch Therapy and CranioSacral Therapy.

Education
- Massage Therapy Program, Centennial College (2000)
I have always been fascinated by the human body and how we function. Coupling that with a desire to help others is what made massage therapy a natural career choice for me. I graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Centennial College in 2000. After all these years of practice, I am still passionate about what I do.
Back when I was studying kinesiology I had a friend complaining of headaches during our midterm exams. After a neck massage, their pain was gone and they joked that I should make this my career. It was shortly after this that I left mid-program to set myself on the path to massage therapy.
My massage treatments incorporate Swedish massage with deep tissue techniques and trigger point therapy. I have done additional training in myofascial release, hot stone massage, reflexology, as well as pre and post-natal massage. I am also certified in lymphatic drainage.
Lifelong learning is vital to creating safe and effective treatments, and being able to share that knowledge with my clients is part of the care I love to provide.

I am extremely interested in all things under the health and wellness umbrella.
I love sharing what I know as well as learning new things from others. Using an outcome-based massage approach, I target specific areas of concern and treat clients as individuals. I understand people seek massage for a variety of reasons therefore treatments and techniques vary to achieve client specific outcomes. Treatment types can differ from deep tissue, relaxation, pregnancy, and MLD (manual lymph drainage).
I believe that to achieve and maintain wellness goals the effort must be ongoing. Optimal results are reached with the marriage of completing home care exercises as well as receiving massage. I thrive off hearing client goals, aspirations and achievements, and find it extremely rewarding to be a part of their wellness journey.

Registered Massage Therapist
Education
- Massage Therapy Program, Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic (2001)
After Graduating from the Massage Therapy Program at Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 2001, I began my journey as a Registered Massage Therapist. With over 20 years of experience and thousands of treatment hours, I pride myself in maintaining an approach to treating the body as a whole.
With a specific intuitive, empathetic, mindful approach and focus placed on deep breathing, I provide a wide range of techniques to ensure a successful outcome. I have a tremendous passion for helping people find rejuvenation, renewal and relief from pain from the general stresses of life or injuries. I have a passion for learning and have completed a variety of modalities that have shaped my ability to grasp and treat the most challenging cases with long-lasting results. I am excited to continue my massage education to add new modalities and techniques to my range of abilities.
I lean towards slow deep therapeutic massage techniques with passive stretching and trigger point therapy, but not limited to a gentler approach to treatment for those who would like to avoid deep pressure. Swedish, Prenatal, and Aromatherapy are my specialities.

Registered Massage Therapist

- Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Fashion Design, University for the Creative Arts (2018)
Hi, I’m Gabriela!
I grew up in a small neighbourhood in Lithuania, where my days were filled with street basketball, hip-hop dance, music and art school. Born into a multicultural family, I grew up speaking Lithuanian, Russian, and Polish, and later learned English — something that gave me a love for connecting with people from different backgrounds. Creativity and curiosity have always shaped who I am, first leading me into a career in fashion design and bespoke tailoring, and later bringing me to Toronto. What started as a search for deeper meaning turned into a true passion when I discovered my love for anatomy and the healing of the human body.
In my treatments, I believe every client deserves an approach as unique as they are. I take the time to listen and guide you toward lasting relief — not just temporary fixes. I often combine deeper fascial release, a mix of Shiatsu and Swedish massage and joint mobilizations, always working within your comfort level. What matters most to me is creating a space where you feel safe, cared for, and truly heard. As part of the LGBTQ+ community, inclusivity and connection are at the heart of my practice.
Outside of the clinic, I recharge by traveling, playing basketball, or simply enjoying the outdoors on a walk or bike ride. Whether in my treatment room or out in nature, I bring the same curiosity, care, and appreciation for people into everything I do.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is approachable, attentive, and passionate about helping you feel your best, I’d love to meet you.

Education
- Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) Program
- Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc)
Born in Toronto and raised in the Caribbean, my diverse professional journey began as a sailor and caterer chef. In my early twenties, I transitioned to becoming a yoga instructor, where I developed a passion for healthy food preparation and holistic wellness. My experiences spanned from working in the Caribbean to the Eastern seaboard of the USA, with a significant time based in Newport, RI.
With a Bachelor of Health Science, I have combined my expertise in health science, fitness, and nutrition to achieve remarkable physical and mental health transformations. Returning to Canada in 2016, I deepened my studies in nutrition and health care, ultimately discovering my true passion in Registered Massage Therapy (RMT). My previous knowledge and clinical training provided a strong foundation for my RMT practice, allowing me to integrate information effectively and confidently apply treatment modalities and orthopedic testing.
In my massage therapy practice, I offer a unique blend of wellness and therapeutic modalities, always prioritizing a client-centered and evidence-based approach. My techniques focus on intention and specificity, providing deep, targeted work complemented by relaxation methods. I firmly believe in the connection between stress, mental health, and illness, which has guided my interest in the psychoneuroimmunological applications of massage therapy.
I am dedicated to continuous learning, particularly in manual therapy techniques and yoga studies, with aspirations to pursue a master’s and Ph.D. in Kinesiology/Clinical Psychology by 2029. My commitment to professional growth ensures that I bring the latest and most effective practices to my clients.
I look forward to working together and being a part of your health journey.

Hi, I’m Megan! With training in Acupuncture, Kinesiology, Hypnosis, and Spinal Energetics, I blend traditional and modern methods to help you feel more connected to your body.
Acupuncture and Kinesiology – allow me to effectively address aches and pains. Specifically I enjoy treating head & face issues (migraines, TMJ, sinus, tinnitus), and hand & wrist pain.
Clinical Hypnosis and Spinal Energetics – allow me to look beyond the purely physical, helping you explore what’s underneath and how it may be shaping your overall wellbeing.
My style is gentle, friendly, and collaborative. I draw on a variety of tools – from guided meditation to cupping and gua sha – to support you in the way that fits you best.
Outside of work, you’ll find me playing beach volleyball, exploring new restaurants (give me your recommendations!), or working on my long-term plan to swap city life for a farm and a lot of dogs.

Hello, and thanks for stopping by to read my bio! My name is Cristina—I’m a registered acupuncturist, former paramedic, published author, women’s studies graduate, and documentary film producer. My work has spanned academia, advocacy, and front-line clinical care.
With a decade of experience in emergency medicine, I developed acute diagnostic skills, resilience under pressure, and a deep respect for the body’s ability to heal under time-sensitive conditions. My transition to acupuncture was driven by an appreciation for Chinese Medicine’s holistic approach, which views health as a dynamic interplay between not only mind and body, but also spirit!
Committed to ongoing education, I incorporate Dr. Lin Xue Jian’s scalp acupuncture system to treat anxiety, depression, and complex post-traumatic stress disorder. Dr. Rachel Sawires
Naturopathic Doctor
Education
- Doctor of Naturopathy degree, Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (2017)
- Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences, Simon Fraser University (2010)
I always dreamed of becoming a doctor to help others, but it wasn’t until my mother’s breast cancer diagnosis that I discovered naturopathic medicine. Drawn to its whole-person philosophy, I embraced an approach that values uncovering the root causes of illness and guiding patients through the body’s natural capacity for healing.
As a naturopathic doctor, I’m dedicated to empowering patients to make confident, sustainable choices that improve both their health and quality of life. I partner with individuals to look deeper, identify and remove barriers to wellness, and co-create realistic strategies for long-term vitality.
I place particular emphasis on nervous system regulation, recognizing its central role in resilience, energy, and healing. I often integrate Bowen Therapy into my care — a gentle yet powerful modality designed to reset and regulate the nervous system — alongside other evidence-based naturopathic treatments. I’m especially passionate about helping patients understand and address the physical manifestations of emotional suppression, where unprocessed experiences often surface as symptoms or disease.
By weaving mind-body awareness with therapeutic tools like Bowen Therapy, I strive to support patients not only in restoring balance, but also in reconnecting with themselves on a deeper level.
